Synergy Netball is a community netball club based in Nuneaton Warwickshire. We train weekly and play in the Coventry & Warwickshire Netball League during the winter season Sept – April and we also take part in various summer leagues and tournaments.
Originally ‘Alderman Ladies’, the club was founded in 1999 by Michelle Oliphant and Paula Eaves. At the time Michelle and Paula were PE teachers at Alderman Smith School and built Alderman Ladies first team from a selection of netball keen pupils from the school.
In 2006, Alderman Ladies Netball Club decided to change the club’s name to give it a separate identity. The name chosen was ‘Synergy Netball Club’.
In 2010, Alderman Smith School became an Academy and was then too renamed ‘The Nuneaton Academy’.
Over 20 years since starting, we now have a large senior and junior section and continue to welcome new players of all abilities!
